Isaure de Broglie, a former internship student in the group, has been awarded a prize at École Polytechnique, Paris, for the best research project in Mechanics. In Oxford she worked on “Helium Retention and Transport in Tungsten for Nuclear Fusion Applications”.
Felix gives an invited talk on “Atomic Scale Crystal Defect Characterization using Micro Diffraction”. The talk concentrated on future opportunities for using metallic systems as proxies for defects in biocrystals. The X-ray Science workshop was hosted by the new Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Advanced Molecular Imaging.
Felix gives an invited talk at XRM 2014 on X-ray Measurements of Individual Dislocations. XRM is one of the major conferences on X-ray microscopy, bringing together the worldwide community. It’s an excellent opportunity to discover the most recent developments and challenges in the field.
